Who am I? What is my place? Why am I here?
The answers to these questions shape our choices, values, and relationships. But to answer these questions clearly, we must first ask and answer three additional questions.
Who is God? What is the Church? Why was Jesus here?
When we know God, we discover our identity. As we experience life in our church, we find belonging. As we encounter and follow Jesus, we discover our mission.
Our Friends Student Ministry is for youth in 7th through 12th grades and provides a safe place to explore these questions through engaging services, life transforming groups, and fun activities.
Wednesday Nights
On Wednesday nights we meet from 6 PM to 7:30 PM in the Ickes Family Life Center (IFLC). We use the Bible to openly discuss topics such as dating, stress, depression, identity, parents, friendships, and more. Wednesday night is the place for you, whether you’re just checking out this whole Jesus thing or you’ve been following Him for your whole life.
Sundays
On Sunday mornings the 7th and 8th grade youth meet in the Friend’s Center at 11:15. High School youth are encouraged to attend one of the morning’s worship services (8:00, 9:45, 11:15).
Retreats and Summer Camp
Retreats and conferences get you away from everyday life to focus on your relationship with God. Youth Explosion features some of the best bands in the country and a nationally-known speaker. Winter Retreat challenges teens to be extreme followers of Jesus.
Impact
This monthly training helps high school students develop leadership skills and make an impact on their school campuses through Bible studies, worship, and service projects.
