Pastor Ray married his wife Peggy in 1968. They live near Bellaire OH, which is also Ray’s hometown. Their son Ray Jr. and his wife Debbie have three children and also serve as foster parents.
Ray received his ministerial training through Indiana Wesleyan. Besides pastoring, Ray has worked as a tool & die maker. He and Peggy have been a part of EREFC since 2011.
John 15:16 is his favorite verse, “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit – fruit that will last and so whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.” Ray says this verse reminds him that God chooses us as his special workers.
During free time he enjoys gardening, reading, and cars. Here’s an important detail from Ray’s past; on two different occasions he was locked up in Folsum Prison. (Less you think he has a shady past, we’ll let you know Ray was there because he was ministering with a Prison Fellowship Ministry team.)
