I am truly excited to introduce myself as your new senior pastor. My journey in faith
and leadership has been shaped first and foremost by the teachings of Jesus, as
well as my academic pursuits and my personal life.
First and foremost, I want you to know a little about my family. My wife and I have
shared in the wonders of marriage for 8 years, and together, we have been blessed
with three amazing sons: David (5), Nathan (4), and our youngest, Zadok, who is just
10 months old. Family is at the heart of who we are, and I firmly believe that the
family unit is the core of discipleship.
In terms of my education, I hold an associate’s degree in biblical studies with a focus
on Christian leadership and a bachelor’s degree in biblical studies, also with an
emphasis on Christian leadership, both from Calvary Chapel Bible College. Currently,
I am pursuing a Master of Divinity with an emphasis in Christian Leadership at Talbot
Theological Seminary at Biola University. My passion for learning and growth in
Christian leadership has led me down this path, and I aspire to continue with a Ph.D.
in Christian Leadership.
My love for studying God’s Word is at the core of my faith journey. One of my favorite
verses is Genesis 4:7, which says, “If you do what is right, will you not be accepted?
But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you,
but you must rule over it” (ESV). Beyond my theological studies, I enjoy hunting,
fishing, training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), and the strategic challenges of playing
chess.
My ministry passions align with my love for leadership, preaching, teaching, and
discipleship. I believe wholeheartedly that the church is God’s primary instrument for
reaching the world, and there is no “plan B” in His divine strategy.
