We LIVE on mission with God
“And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.”
– Acts 2:42
At Friends Church, educating our kids in God’s truth is foundational to who we are. We are committed to helping form lasting faith in the next generation so they can become resilient disciples of Jesus Christ. We believe this happens best when the church and home work together, so we come alongside families to equip and encourage them in discipling their kids.
On Wednesday nights, our Kids Ministry offers Awana to help children know, love, and serve Jesus for life. Want to know more? Click below.
We offer a discipleship pathway for our kids 0-5th grade to grow in their faith. On Sunday mornings at our 9:45 and 11:15 services, we use the Brite curriculum, helping kids learn and live God’s Word in an engaging, age-appropriate way. Kids are always welcome to sit with their parents, caregivers, or other family members in our services, and we provide staffed nurseries for infants and toddlers at our 9:45 and 11:15 services.
To ensure the safety of every child in our care, we use a secure check-in and check-out tag system, and every member of our team completes background checks and training. Whether in the nursery, classrooms, or at events, our heart is the same—to create safe, welcoming spaces where kids experience the love of Jesus and build a faith foundation that lasts a lifetime.
