Columbus, OH, was home to Rachel Ratliff until she and her family moved to St. Clairsville. Rachel met her husband Dave at Cedarville University. For one of their first dates they went mudding with friends. Their jeep got stuck and Rachel had to call her parents to come pick them up. Her parents had just been heading out the door to attend an OSU basketball game and were none too happy that they had to give up attending the game!
Rachel and Dave married in 1993 and have three children; Joshua, Jacob, and Kari. They became part of the EREFC family in 2014.
In college Rachel was a business management and marketing major. After graduating she worked at a makeup counter until one of her clients hired her to be general manager of their computer supply company.
She enjoys family time, animals, and being outside with a good book. She also loves attending car races and admits to enjoying watching the crashes as well, as long as no one is injured.
Romans 8:28 is her favorite, “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Rachel says, “This verse has been a constant in my life as I remind myself that even though I don’t know the whys and don’t understand the plan, God has a purpose and it’s for my benefit.”
